Purpose Statement To worship God corporately and privately with all that we are – mind, emotions, will, and body – for all that He is; realizing that the chief end of man is to glorify God by enjoying Him forever. Philosophy of Ministry We believe that in biblical worship, questions of worship forms, liturgy, musical styles, and abilities are non-issues compared to the heart. We purpose to nurture “heart-attitudes” of lordship, humility, and obedience before God as we worship. (Psalm 24:3-6; Isaiah 66:2; Matthew 15:8-9; John 4:23-24)
We believe that worship is to be participated in by all regardless of age, talent, or any other criteria. We seek high congregational involvement and reject “spectator worship.” (Psalm 5:11; Psalm 95:6)
We strive to accomplish the work of the Worship & Music Ministry with the highest degree of excellence and integrity, and with humble acknowledgement that all enabling comes from God’s grace and provision. (Jeremiah 9:23-24; Psalm 115:1; James 4:6,10; 1 Peter 5:5-7)
