2010 Riding Schedule

MAY 19, Fun Ride-Not too fast, not too far

Depart at 6pm from Beatty Station and ride to Yellow Springs for supper at Subway, then return. This will be a relaxed pace ride with about 12 miles round trip. Contact: Dan & Cindy Hepp 

 

MAY 22, Urbana Bicycle Festival

Depart at 8:15am from the Villa Road staging area and ride the bike path to Urbana to participate in the bike parade. After the parade, we will enjoy the Bicycle Festival and lunch in the downtown area. Distance: 30 miles round trip. Contact: Dan Hepp 

 

JUN 2, Fun Ride-Not too fast, not too far

Depart at 6pm from Beatty Station and ride to Young’s Dairy for ice cream and return. This will be a relaxed pace ride with about 12 miles round trip, mostly on the bike path. Contact Dan & Cindy Hepp 

 

JUN 19, Progressive Supper by Bicycle

Depart at 4pm from the Hepp’s house (4120 Southwest Circle). The ride consists of 4 stops along a 12 mile road route with a different food menu at each stop. Suitable for all riders capable of riding on a county road. A $4 registration per person is required and must be received by Jun 16. Contact: Dan & Cindy Hepp 

 

JUL 7, Fun Ride-Not too fast, not too far

JUL 17, RAIN Ride Across Indiana

Ride 160 miles in one day across Indiana with several members of the BOB team. Car pool and sag support is available. Pre-registration with the RAIN organizers required. Contact Dan & Cindy Hepp 

 

JUL 24/25, Young’s Dairy Charity Bike Tour

JUL 31, Crossroad Bicycle Tour-West Liberty

AUG 14, Hockhocking Adena Bikeway Ride

Depart at 8am from Springfield and drive to Nelsonville. Ride the bikeway along the Hocking River to Athens, eat lunch and return to Nelsonville. Ride distance: 40 miles round trip. Car pool available.  Contact: Dan & Cindy Hepp 

 

SEP 10-11, Holmes County Bike/Shop/Bike Tour

Depart Springfield by car on Friday morning with a planned path ride and an Amish supper. We will spend the night and have breakfast at Skyview Ranch in Millersburg. Saturday will consist of shopping some the Amish stores, then riding the Holmes County Trail that shares lanes for bicycles and horse & buggies. A $25 registration is required by Sep 1st. OCT 9, 9th Annual Fall Foliage Ride-Spring to Cincinnati

Depart at 8am from Southgate Baptist Church and enjoy the 62 miles to Loveland on the Little Miami Scenic Trail. Rest stops are scheduled about 15 miles and there is van/trailer support for those desiring a shorter ride. After an early supper, we will return to Springfield by bus, van & trailers.
